Learning about Swedish culture, and visiting a much-talked-about Michi-no-eki
This tour's destination is Sweden Hills, a beautiful residential area surrounded by greenery. In this Swedish-style neighborhood, you'll taste exquisite pasta and bread, and then visit facilities where you can learn about Swedish culture and visit Leksand Memorial Park, which commands a wonderful view. Before leaving Tobetsu for home, stop by the Michi-no-eki for specialty products of the town.

This roadside rest area standing amidst beautiful countryside is a Northern European-style building with a distinctive triangular roof and a reddish-brown exterior.

Sweden Hills
Located on low hills with lush greenery in western Tobetsu, Sweden Hills is a beautiful residential area that features Swedish-style houses and a well-planned townscape. Currently, about 260 families are living there.

Restaurant Ari
Tobetsu is blessed with an abundance of agricultural produce. This restaurant offers cuisine that makes the most of wheat, vegetables and other Tobetsu produce.
