A tour with lots to offer: Enjoy nature and food, and learn about the history of Kitahiroshima.
You'll leave JR Kitahiroshima Station for Eco Museum Center Chishin-no-eki, a place for learning about Kitahiroshima. Then you'll visit Kururu-no-mori, an agricultural experience center that has a unique café, factory outlet shops selling popular confections and prepared food, and a farmer's market. Cycle through the hills and enjoy riding along Elfin Cycling Road.

Life-size models of mammoths can be seen at this museum in Kitahiroshima, a city where mammoth fossils have been found.

Elfin Cycling Road
Elfin Cycling Road extends 8.1 km from JR Kitahiroshima Station to Kaminopporo Station. The vegetation along the road is visually pleasing to cyclists in all four seasons.

Kitahiroshima mammoth
Kitahiroshima is the only place in Japan where fossils of both a Mammuthus proto -mammonteus and a woolly mammoth have been found. 
Life-size models of mammoths created by citizens are exhibited at Eco Museum Center Chishin-no-eki.
